Bellamy Young
Young's career in acting began with theatre. In 1997, she made her Broadway debut in the role of Mary in the actors of The Life. Also, she appeared off-Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Rolled Along (1994) and as Randy Newman's Faust (from 1995-96). She made her debut on TV in 1995, with an appearance on the show as"Dr. Courtney Evans, NBC's daytime soap show Another World. The actress was on Law & Order as a guest star in two roles in 1997, and again in 1998. In 1999 she made her movie debut with a minor part in the crime drama Black and White and later was a co-star in a number of independent films. In the early 2000s she started appearing as guest-star characters on several comedies and television dramas such as The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Young was a part of more than 30 TV shows between 2000 and 2011. in 2003 Young got a role as part of The USA Network show Peacemakers. After a total of nine episodes, a season, the show was canceled. There were recurring characters in the Lifetime legal drama series For the People as Deputy Dist. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs in the role of The Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs with Monica West (CSI: Miami, 2005-06) in ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) and CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney). She also appeared on the show in 2011 as the role of Beth Clemmons on Criminal Minds.
