Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Having caught the public's attention in 2010 with her singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses," British vocalist Ellie Goulding quickly climbed to the top of the charts due to her enthralling electronic pop style. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has an unique soprano scream and a knack for writing emotional songs with uplifting lyrics. Much like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she's at the forefront of contemporary mainstream pop as well as the artful independent music. Polydor Records offered her a contract as major label. She began to prepare for her debut.
