Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Her initial inspiration was shadows cast on grass. Months later she came up with a technique which did not make the subject on the canvas as an image that was flat. This way, the object is turned into an image of itself. This is particularly true for living things or objects that die for example, like fruits or humans. Alexa's style of painting is one of ephemeral, and only photographs of her work survive. Photography and painting techniques are closely coordinated and result in a flat two-dimensional space that achieves trompe l'oeil. Certain parts of the image, like the hair or eyes, show the 3D dimension. Meade will sometimes integrate her painting into the surrounding three-dimensional environment that allows them to interact within the context of their own. This is a way of breaking down the barriers between painting, photography, installation and performance.
